After many years of not having any spare time, I moved to the Almanzora Valley region of Andalusia, Spain in 2006, and at last I am in a position to indulge my passions of painting and crafting.

Although I am only an enthusiastic amateur, I have found that people love my work so much that I have decided to promote myself and my work on a wider stage.

Initially I did a lot of generic animal portraits as watercolour or pencil sketches, but these led to several commissions for pet and animal portraits in a variety of mediums, which I create from photographs rather than live sittings.

My other crafting pastimes include papier-maché modelling, needle-work and crotchet.  The papier-maché modelling developed from love of pottery, but the Spanish summer does not lend itself to hours of kiln work.  My crochet is unique bespoke items of clothing and blankets.

One of my latest ventures is "Keepsake Pets". These are a way of preserving your memories in a tactile fabric form and can be created from baby's first clothes, first or last school uniforms, grandma's favourite cardigan or grandad's shirt.

All of my works are available for purchase, either at local artisan craft fairs or direct from me.
